Sunday Gatherings
At Redemption Church, our philosophy of ministry and worship is simple: we believe that God through His Spirit uses His Word to both save sinners and sanctify saints. Therefore, in all that we do, we aim to make Jesus Christ and His Word central. Here is what that looks like on a practical level.
Sing the Bible - We sing songs that are filled with biblical truths.
Pray the Bible - We give time to praying prayers that are soaked with Scripture.
Read the Bible - Like Paul commanded Timothy, we devote ourselves to the public reading of God’s Word.
Preach the Bible - Central to our gatherings is the expositional proclaiming of the Bible.
See the Bible - Christ has given us the ordinances of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper that are visible pictures of the Gospel.
-
Our service times typically last around an hour and fifteen minutes. We begin at 10:00 am, and will wrap up around 11:15.
-
The style of dress at Redemption encompasses a wide range. Some people dress casually and others more formally - most people are somewhere between casual and business casual.
-
At Redemption, we want sing songs that sound good and are filled with sound doctrine. Some songs are newer, some are older, but they are all designed to point our hearts and minds toward Jesus.
-
We love to welcome kids of all ages in our main gatherings. However, we also provide children’s classes during the service, currently up through 3rd grade.
-
We believe in expositional preaching, which means we are committed to consecutively preaching through books of the Bible, and where the main point of the passage is typically the main point of the sermon.
