Discipleship & Leadership Development

Discipleship means intentionally helping others follow Jesus. At Redemption Church, we believe this is not just the job of a select few, but the calling of every follower of Christ. To that end, we encourage every member at Redemption to be committed to being discipled and making disciples.

And then in addition to basic discipleship, we also desire to equip believers for the work of ministry. Our prayer is that the Lord will enable us to train up Christians to serve in the local church and then also send out pastors, preachers, and missionaries to take the Gospel to ends of the earth!

Discipleship Opportunties

  • Community Groups

These are groups of men and women of various ages and walks of life. Community Groups meet weekly for fellowship, prayer, Bible study, and sometimes even a meal! If you are interested in joining or leading a CG, please click here.

  • Classes

Periodically, Redemption Church offers classes on Sunday morning before the main worship service. These classes are generally topical, and focus on things like parenting, personal evangelism, marriage, various theological topics, and are designed to build up believers in specific areas.

  • Discipleship Groups

Discipleship Groups are same gender, smaller groups of around 3-5 people that focus on prayer, Bible study, and accountability. These typically happen organically and are not “officially” organized by Redemption, but if you are interested, please reach out!
